Latvia debuterte i Eurovision Choir of the Year i 2017, som ble avholdt i Riga, Latvia.[1] Koret som representerte Latvia i konkurransen, ble valgt gjennom en nasjonal finale, arrangert av LTV. Spīgo fikk æren av å representere Latvia i landets debut i konkurransen.[2]
