Filokalia (gresk φιλοκαλία, "Kjærlighet til det vakre") er en samling av tekster skrevet mellom det tredje og femtende århundre av de fremste personene i den kristne kontemplative, mystiske, asketiske og hesykastiske tradisjonen.[1][2]
Tekstene gjenspeiler den hesykastiske tradisjon, der mennesket gjennom Jesusbønnen og den indre fred søker å oppnå en tilstand av fullstendig enhet med Gud

Samlingen ble redigert av Nikodemus Hagoritten (1749–1809) og Makarius av Korint (1731–1805), og ble utgitt for første gang i Venezia i 1782.[3][4] Boken, som i sin helhet omfatter fem bind, har blitt til innen den østlige ortodokse kirken, men samler innholde fra flere konfesjoner, blant dem koptisk, syriske og latinske forfattere.
Filokalia sies å være den tekstsamlingen som, nest etter Bibelen, har hatt størst innflytelse på den ortodokse kirkes trosliv.[3][5]
Viktige forfattere i Filokalia er blant andre Maximus bekjenneren, Johannes av Damaskus, Simeon den nye teologen, Gregor av Sinai og Gregor Palamas. For flere av de øvrige forfatternes vedkommende er lite kjent om deres liv.
