Boza (tyrkisk: boza; bulgarsk: боза [boˈza]; rumensk: bragă) er et tyktflytende, svakt alkoholholdig type øl som konsumeres på Balkan, i Tyrkia, Sentral-Asia og Midtøsten. Boza er med sitt høye kaloriinnhold og lave alkoholprosent (ca. 1%) brukt som en varmende og nærende drikk i vintermånedene.
Boza blir tradisjonelt laget av hirse, men kan også fremstilles av mais, bygg, rug, havre og hvete. Smaken er søt og noe syrlig.
Navnet boza stammer fra det persiske ordet buze, som betyr hirse. Drikken har en lang historie i Vest-Asia hvor den er blitt produsert og drukket i over 8 000 år.[1]
