Bartoszyce (tysk Bartenstein) er en by i Polen i Det ermlandskmasuriske voivodskap. Byen, som ligger ved elven Łyna, fikk bystatus i 1326 under navnet Rosenthal, et navn som bare seks år senere ble endret til Bartenstein.

Under andre verdenskrig ble 60% av byen rasert. Etter krigen ble byen som følge av Potsdamkonferansen tillagt Polen. Den tyske befolkningen ble enten evakuert eller forvist, og byen ble befolket med polakker som hadde blitt fordrevet fra områdene i øst annektert av Sovjetunionen.
