Aïr (alternativt Aïrmassivet, Aïrfjellene eller Azbine) er et triangulært fjellmassiv i Saharaørkenen og ligger i departementet Agadez i det nordlige Niger, nordøst for byen Agadez, som er områdets viktigste by[1]. Massivet reiser seg mer enn 1 830 meter, og den høyeste toppen er Idoukal-en-Taghès på 2 022 meter over havet[1]. I regntiden fra august til oktober oppstår i fjellene bekker og floder som gir vann til skogkledde daler, beiteland og lavere beliggende oaser.[1]
Befolkningen i området rundt Aïr er fremfor alt tuareger[1] som lever et nomadisk liv og i hovedsak er avhengige av sine kameler og geiter som gir dem melk, kjøtt og skinn som så benyttes i den lokale håndverksproduksjonen. Jordbruksprodukter fra oaser som Timia og Tabeelot byttes mot klær eller salt som kommer med kamelkaravaner fra de fjernere oasene Bilma og Fachi.
Aïr er kjent for sine klippemalerier som ble til fra 6000-tallet f.Kr. til omkring 1000 e.Kr. I tidligere perioder var Aïr et pastoralt område, noe som illustreres ved bilder av kveg og andre pattedyr, men på 3000-tallet f.Kr. begynte ørkenen å bre seg og tuareger fra nord flyttet inn i regionen. Senere kunst viser kriger med avbildninger av hester og stridsvogner. Særlig berømt er det fem meter høye maleriet av en sjiraff i Dabous, oppdaget i 1999. Grottekunsten i regionen består først og fremst av klippemalerier til å begynne med utført med skarpe steiner, men fra omkring 1200 f.Kr. kan maleriene ha blitt risset inn ved hjelp av metallgjenstander.
Aïr og Ténéré naturreservat ligger i området.
