Johan Wilhelm Midelfart (født 4. april 1904 i Kristiania, død 28. oktober 1975 i Oslo) var en norsk maler og tegner som arbeidet under navnet Willi eller Willy Midelfart. Han er mest kjent for sitt bidrag til rådhusfreskene, utsmykningen av Oslo rådhus, med veggmaleriet Det gror i rådhusets mottagelsessal.
Willy Midelfart fikk undervisning av Per Krohg og Otte Sköld i Académie Scandinave i Paris 1925-26, og studerte på Statens kunstakademi under Axel Revold 1929–30 og 1939–40 hos Georg Jacobsen.
Midelfart var bereist og leste mye. Han var sosialist, og laget mange illustrasjoner til bevegelsens tidsskrifter, foruten at han illustrerte Arne Garborgs Bondestudentar (1934-utgaven) og Lise Lindbæks Spania og vi (1946).
Hans tidlige verker kunne tyde på en ny idylliker i norsk kunstliv. Rådhusfresken Det gror kan oppfattes som vitalistisk preget, med inspirasjon fra Munchs arbeider, men blir like gjerne forstått som en sosialistisk utopi, og et idealbilde av det framtidige klasseløse samfunnet.
Hans sosiale og politiske engasjement virket inn på kunsten som etter hvert ble sentrert om folks kår og hverdagslige verdighet og krigers elendighet. Blant hans tendens-malerier kan nevnes Politiet angriper (1932). Midelfart ble tatt med på listen over «ukunst» som NS laget som norsk motstykke til tysk «entartethet».
Verkene finnes blant annet i Nasjonalmuseet og Drammen museum. En minneutstilling ble vist i Kunstnerforbundet i 1976.
