Western Region er en av Ghanas regioner. Administrasjonssenteret er Sekondi. Regionen hadde 2 376 021 innbyggere ved folketellingen i 2010.[1] Regionen dekker et område som strekker seg fra grensen mot Elfenbenskysten i vest inn til Central Region i øst. Den inkluderer landets sørligste punkt, Cape Three Points.

Regionen har Ghanas største regnmengde, frodige skoger og fruktbar landbruksjord. Det finnes flere gullgruver.
Kulturelt domineres regionen av nzema, en gren av akan-kulturen. De viktigste afrikanske språkene er fante og nzema. Kristendom er viktigste religion, men tradisjonell fetisjkult er også utbredt.
Kwame Nkrumah, Ghanas første statsoverhode, ble født i Nkroful i Western Region. Han arbeidet i 1930-årene som lærer i Axim.
De viktigste elvene er Ankobra, Pra og Tana. Sistnevnte markerer over en strekning den vestlige riksgrensen.
Regionen er kjent for landsbyen Nzulezo, som er bygget på stokker og plattformer over vann. Ankasa verneområde er et beskyttet naturområde. Det finnes flere fort bygget av forskjellige europeiske koloniherrer fra 1512 og utover.
