Transparency International er en ikke-statlig organisasjon etablert i 1993 med det formål å kjempe mot korrupsjon. Organisasjonen publiserer blant annet den kjente International Corruption Perceptions Index som rangerer lands korrupsjonsnivå.

Transparency International har hovedkontor i Berlin og avdelinger i over 90 land.
Mye av organisasjonens arbeid går ut på å sette korrupsjon på den internasjonale dagsordenen, blant annet ved produksjon av rapporter og rangeringer. Organisasjonen arbeider også som pressgruppe nasjonalt og internasjonalt, og forsøker å påvirke innholdet i lover og traktater.[6]
Organisasjonen finansieres hovedsakelig av støtte fra bistandsdepartementer i ulike land, og av donasjoner fra stiftelser.[7]
