Tellus eller Terra var en romersk gudinne. Hun var mor til Fama, og var gudinne for Jorden, fruktbarhet, mødre og gravide. Hun var romernes motstykke til den greske jordgudinnen Gaia (Ge).

Hennes festival ble feiret 15. april, og var kjent som Fordicia. Under festivalen ble drektige kyr ofret til henne. Hun ble også feiret 24. til 26. januar sammen med grødegudinnen Ceres. Et tempel ble bygget til hennes ære på Forum Pacis i Roma i 268 f.Kr..[1]
Jordens vitenskapelige navn, Tellus (Terra brukes også i eldre tekster), kommer fra denne gudinnens navn; et resultat av at man valgte å navngi planeter og satellitter etter mytologiske skikkelser.
