Puttgarden er en landsby og en ferjehavn på nordkysten av øya Fehmarn i Øst-Holstein i den tyske delstaten Schleswig-Holstein. Bil- og jernbanefergeforbindelsen, som krysser Fehmarnbelt mellom Puttgarden og Rødby på Lolland i Danmark, er en del av Fuglefluktlinjen. Sambandet, som trafikkeres av Scandlines, regnes som det mest brukte mellom Tyskland og Danmark, og har en frekvens på en avgang hver halvtime hele døgnet.[1]
Fergeterminalen i Puttgarden ble påbegynt i 1961, og ble innviet den 14. mai 1963. Fergesambandet til Rødby erstattet sambandet mellom Gedser i Danmark og Großenbrode, like sør for Fehmarn.[2] I 2011 ble det bestemt at det skal bygges tunnel fra Puttgarden til Rødby, med byggestart i 2014. Tunnelen er planlagt å skulle åpnes i 2020.[3]
