Henrik Ibsens gate er en gate i Skien. Gaten het tidligere Løvestrædet og fikk navnet Henrik Ibsens Gade, oppkalt etter dikteren Henrik Ibsen, i 1872.[1]

Henrich Ibsen, dikterens farfar, eide ved sin død i 1797 Løvestrædet 27. Det var en bygård på én etasje med 7 rom, som ble taksert til 2 600 riksdaler i branntaksten samme år. Gården lå sør for det senere rådhuset og ble revet på 1800-tallet.[2] Den ble solgt av enken Johanne Plesner og hennes nye ektemann 5. februar 1799, og de kjøpte for verdiene samme dag gården Rising søndre i Gjerpen; der vokste også Knud Ibsen opp.[3]
Henrik Ibsen selv kommenterte at han ikke skjønte «af hvilken grund gaden kom til at bære mit navn; thi jeg er ikke født i den gade og har aldrig boet der».[4]
