Kornati er en øygruppe i Adriaterhavet ved kysten av Kroatia, utenfor Dalmatia og sør for Zadar. Med 150 øyer over et havareal på om lag 320 km² er Kornati den tetteste øygruppen i Middelhavet.[1]

Den sørlige delen av øygruppa, kalt Donji Kurnat (Nedre Kurnat), ble erklært som Kornati nasjonalpark i 1980.
Kornat, med et areal på 32,53 km², er den største av øyene, og utgjør to tredjedeler av landarealet i nasjonalparken. Selv om øya er 25,2 km lang, er den ikke mer enn ca. 2,5 km på det bredeste.
Det er ingen permanente bosettinger på Kornati. Det er likevel ført opp enkle hus i godt vernede viker som Vruje, Kravjačica, Lavsa og andre, som blir brukt av landeiere som ly. De fleste landeierne kommer fra øya Murter.
