Hampi er en by i den indiske delstaten Karnataka, sør i India. Byen er mest kjent for den rike forekomsten av ruiner[4], som UNESCO har oppført på listen over verdens kultur- og naturarvsteder (verdensarvlisten). Med til verdensarven i Hampi hører et antall monumenter i ruinbyen Vijayanagara. Byen var en gang hovedstad i det gamle riket som fantes i området rundt Vijayanagara, og som nå er totalt ødelagt. Det eneste som står igjen av ruinene fra Vijayanagar er den lille byen Hampi.
