Gagaus

Gagaus (gagausisk Gagauziya eller Gagauz Yeri; rumensk Găgăuzia; russisk Гагаузия Gagauzija) er en autonom region i Moldova siden 1994, som er befolka av gagausere. Hovedstaden i regionen er Comrat, og offisielle språk er gagausisk, rumensk og russisk. Navnet Gagaus stammer trolig fra Gok-oguz, som refererer til oghuz-tyrkere.
