Den 93. Oscar-utdelingen

Den 93. Oscar-utdelingen ble avholdt den 25. april 2021 for å kåre filmbransjens beste prestasjoner i filmåret 2020. Prisutdelingen ble avholdt senere på året enn normalt, på grunn av restriksjonene knyttet til den verdensomspennende koronapandemien. Seremonien ble avholdt som et virtuelt arrangement i regi av Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS). Sermonien ble direktesendt fra Union Station og Dolby Theatre i Hollywood, Los Angeles på grunn av restriksjoner over antall mennesker man kunne ha samlet på ett sted.^[1][2]

Dette var den første Oscar-utdelingen hvor man slo sammen kategoriene Oscar for beste lydmiks og Oscar for beste lydklipp til en felles pris, Oscar for beste lyd. Dette ble gjort av Akademiet da man mente at de gamle kategoriene var for like i innhold.^[3]
