Bjørnøy er en øy i Stavanger kommune. Bjørnøy ligger mellom Hundvåg i vest og Roaldsøy i øst.[1] Øyen er bebodd og er det er mye bebyggelse, men fremdeles finnes det store «grønne» områder, spesielt nord på øya. Øyen er knyttet til Austbø på Hundvåg med broen over Kallagsundet (Skadesundveien) som stod ferdig i 1991. (Før dette hadde øya ferjeforbindelse til Stavanger sentrum.) Til øst ligger broen over til Roaldsøy ved Roaldsøyveien.
I 2022 var det 333 innbyggere på Bjørnøy. (Oppgitt fra kommunen på forespørsel.)
Det er usikkert hvor navnet på øya stammer fra, men alle de tre øyene øst for Hundvåg har mannsnavn; Bjørn, Roald, og Orm.
