Ayun er en av kildeelvene til Jordan i det sørlige Libanon og nordlige Israel. Elva starter på Marjayounslettene i det sørlige Libanon, og flyter sørover i forskjellige irrigasjonsgrøfter for den renner inn i Israel nær Metulla. På israelsk side fortsetter elva sørover gjennom naturreservatet Nahal Ayun, som er et juv med fire fossefall. I Huladalen munner elva til sist ut i Hasbani, som like etter skifter navn til Jordan.
Ayun fører vann hele året, men vannet er de siste tiårene blitt avledet til jordbruksformål på libanesisk side. Dette førte til at elva tørket ut om sommeren. For å bevare økosystemet i naturreservatet, har israelske parkmyndigheter siden 2009 ledet vann over fra elva Dan til elveløpet i sommersesongen.[1]
