Aneby kommune er en kommune i Jönköpings län i landskapet Småland i Sverige. Kommunen er länets minst folkerike, med 6 422 innbyggere pr 2011.[2] Kommunens administrasjonssenter ligger i Aneby.

I Aneby danner Svartån Sør-Sveriges høyeste foss, med et fall på 20 meter: Stalpafallet.
Innen kommunens område var det før den nye kommuneinndelingen fra 1863 åtte sogn. Hvert sogn utgjorde en landskommune. Disse ble slått sammen til to storkommuner ved kommunereformen i 1952; Bredestad (av Askeryd, Bredestad, Bälaryd, Frinnaryd og Marbäck) og Hullaryd (av Haurida, Lommaryd og Vireda). Disse ble igjen slått sammen i 1967 til Aneby kommune, som fikk sitt navn etter det municipalsamhället, Aneby, som i årene 1923 til 1966 fantes i Bredestad og Bälaryd.
