Abanyom er et niger-kongospråk i den bantoide gruppa som brukes av omkring 12 500 mennesker i Nigeria. Språket tilhører den ekoide gruppa av bantoide språk. Språket er ganske nært beslekta med bantuspråka uten å være en del av dem, da det i likhet med bantuspråka tilhører den sørlige greina av den bantoide gruppa. Abanyom er et tonespråk og har i likhet med bantuspråk et typisk nominalklassesystem.
