Svelgen kapell står i Svelgen i Bremanger kommune i Vestland, og er ei kvitkalka arbeidskyrkje frå 1960.[1]

Arkitektar for bygget, som har sitjeplassar til 290 personar, var Claus og Johan Lindstrøm.[1]
Kapellet er sparsamleg og enkelt innreida. Pengane som var innsamla over mange år vart mindre verd under inflasjonen på 1950-talet og byggenemda sleit med å få pengane til å rekkje. Det måtte skjerast ned på kostnadane, og planane om kjellar under bygget måtte sleppast. I staden skulle det byggjast eit bygg ved sidan av kapellet som skulle romme møtesal, men også det måtte dei gje opp. Til slutt vart det eit enkelt kapell med møterom, sakresti til presten, toalett og eit lite kjøken. Klokketårnet er reist på sida av kapellet og har bårehus nedst.[1]
Kapellet høyrer til Midtgulen sokn i Nordfjord prosti. Fram til 1966 høyrde soknet til Bremanger prestegjeld, men vart då overført til Davik prestegjeld.[2] Før kapellet kom sokna folk i området til Bremanger kyrkje då ho låg på Grotle, så til Frøya kyrkje, og sist til Midtgulen kyrkje.[1]
Svelgen fekk eigen gravstad i 1995.[3]
