Perugino er kallenamnet på ein italiensk målar, aktiv under renessansen. Han var fødd mellom 1445 og 1448 i Città della Pieve, ved byen Perugia (derav kalla «il Perugino»), og døydde i februar eller mars 1523 i Fontignano ved Perugia. Hans eigentlege namn var Pietro di Cristoforo Vannucci, og han vert rekna som ein av dei leiande innanfor den såkalla umbriske målarskulen.

Sjølv gjekk Perugino truleg i lære hos Piero della Francesca og Andrea del Verrocchio. Han laga i 1473 biletserien Scener frå St. Bernards liv, kanskje saman med målaren Pinturicchio. Sitt mest berømte verk måla han i 1481 i det sixtinske kapell i Vatikanet i Roma. Freskoen Kristus leverer nøklane til Peter er 335 cm × 550 cm stor, og ein av tre freskar han laga i kapellet.
I 1490-åra laga han viktige freskar i eit kloster i Firenze, og tida mellom 1499-1507 arbeidde han med freskar i Palazzo Communale i Perugia. Freskane hans er prega av fantastisk klårleik og plastisitet. Menneska han portretterte utstrålar ein spesiell sjølvrespekt og nåde. Perugino laga også altarbilete. Verka hans vart ofte kopiert av andre målarar.
I samtida var folk særleg imponert av djupneperspektivet i bileta hans. Av den grunn var Perugino den best kjende målaren i Italia. Ryet førte tilsynelatande til at han la opp til masseproduksjon i to verkstader, ein i Perugia og den andre i Firenze. Særleg vart det laga mange madonnabilete.
