Paul Brady

Paul Joseph Brady (fødd 19. mai 1947)^[1] er ein irsk songar-låtskrivar, som har arbeidd både innan folk og pop. Han vart interessert i ei rekkje musikkartar frå tidleg alder. Han samarbeidde først med fleire store band, før han starta sin eigen solokarriere.

Han vart først populær då han spelte i ein duo med Andy Irvine og seinare med Tommy Peoples og Matt Molloy, som spelte irsk folkemusikk, før han la over til ein meir rockeinspirert stil med skarpe, politiske tekstar. Somme av dei mest populære songane hans er «Crazy Dreams», «Nothing but the Same Old Story», «The Island», «Night Hunting», «Steel Claw» og «Paradise is Here».^[2]
