In 1927/28 werd het elfde Opper-Lausitzs voetbalkampioenschap gespeeld, dat georganiseerd werd door de Midden-Duitse voetbalbond. Zittauer BC werd kampioen en plaatste zich voor de Midden-Duitse eindronde. De club verloor meteen van Dresdner SC.
