Duitsland was een van de deelnemende landen op het Europees kampioenschap voetbal 2008 in Zwitserland en Oostenrijk. Het was de zestiende deelname voor het land. Bij het vorige EK in Portugal (in 2004) werd Duitsland uitgeschakeld in de groepsfase, door Nederland en Tsjechië.
