In 1998 werd het zesde Campeonato Tocantinense gespeeld voor clubs uit de Braziliaanse staat Tocantins. De competitie werd georganiseerd door de FTF en werd gespeeld van 8 maart tot 7 juni. Alvorada werd kampioen.
