Bulkestein (ook gespeld als Bulckestein en Bulckesteyn) was een kasteel in het Nederlandse dorp Deil, provincie Gelderland.

Het kasteel wordt beschouwd als het stamslot van het geslacht Van Tuyll van Bulckestein en zal vóór 1412 door deze familie zijn gesticht. In dat jaar wordt het kasteel voor het eerst genoemd, vanwege het overlijden van Willem van Tuyll van Bulckestein. Het slot was een leen van Egmond, totdat het in 1666 een leen werd van Gelre. In de 17e eeuw zal het slot door een van de laatste telgen Van Tuyll verbouwd zijn tot het kasteel dat op 18e-eeuwse tekeningen staat afgebeeld.
Vanaf 1670 kwam Bulkestein in handen van diverse families. In 1788 verkocht eigenaar Cornelis Verzijl het kasteel voor de sloop. De gracht werd grotendeels gedempt en op het voormalige kasteelterrein werd een boomgaard geplant. Alleen de toegangspoort bleef overeind.
Uit een tekening van Cornelis Pronk uit 1728 blijkt dat Bulkestein er als een renaissancekasteel uitzag, met trapgevels en een torenspits. Rondom het slot lag een gracht.
Een deel van de grachten is nog zichtbaar in het landschap. De toegangspoort uit 1620 is sinds 1971 een rijksmonument.[1] De poort is in de jaren 30 van de 20e eeuw echter door een storm dermate beschadigd, dat de boog is ingestort.
