Stepel is n noaberskop in de gemeente Hoksebarge, in Tweante.
Stepel ligt op t noordn van Hoksebarge, an de N739 noar Beckum. Stepel is ook n naamn van n bedriewngebeed in t noordelike deel van Hoksebarge, en vaalt vuur n groot deel oonder de parochie van Beckum. Stepel greanzet an Bokel, Beantel en De Hoeve. In de middeleewn was Stepel al bekeand as Stepele.[1]
In vroger tiedn was Stepel deel van ne moarke woer at Holthuuzn en Epnzoolder ook bie heurdn.[2]
