Dalam astronomi, model geopusat atau model geosentrik (juga dikenali sebagai fahaman geopusat, selalu diberikan contoh khusus oleh sistem Ptolemy) ialah huraian tergantiAlam semesta dengan Bumi di pusat. Di bawah model geopusat, Matahari, Bulan, bintang, dan planet semua mengelilingi Bumi.[1] Model geopusat merupakan huraian utama kosmos dalam banyak tamadun purba, seperti Aristotle dalam Yunani Klasik dan Ptolemy dalam Mesir Rom.

Dua pemerhatian menyokong idea Bumi merupakan pusat Alam semesta:
Pertama, dari mana-mana di Bumi, Matahari muncul beredar mengelilingi Bumi sekali sehari. Manakala Bulan dan planet-planet mempunyai geraknya yang tersendiri, ia juga kelihatan mengelilingi Bumi sekitar sekali sehari. Bintang kelihatan tetap pada sfera cakerawala berputar sekali setiap hari pada suatu paksi melalui kutub geografi Bumi.[2]
Kedua, Bumi kelihatan tidak bergerak daripada perspektif seorang pemerhati arah bumi; ia rasa pejal, stabil, dan pegun.
