साहित्यातील नोबेल पारितोषिक हे दरवर्षी बहाल केल्या जाणाऱ्या ५ नोबेल पारितोषिकांपैकी एक आहे. साहित्यातील पहिले नोबेल पारितोषिक इ.स. १९०१ साली सली प्रुडहॉम ह्या फ्रेंच कवी व लेखकाला देण्यात आले.

१९१३ सालचे साहित्यातील नोबेल पारितोषिक रविंद्रनाथ टागोरांना देण्यात आले होते. आजतागायत भारतीय साहित्यिकाला मिळालेले हे एकमेव नोबेल आहे. रुडयार्ड किप्लिंगयांना १९०७ साली हा पुरस्कार मिळाला होता, जे ब्रिटिश लेखक होते पण त्यांचा जन्म मुंबई येथे झाला होता.
ह्या पुरस्काराचे वितरण दरवर्षी १० डिसेंबर रोजी स्टॉकहोम शहरात केले जाते.
२०२२ पर्यंत, साहित्यातील नोबेल पारितोषिक ११९ व्यक्तींना देण्यात आले आहे.[1] सर्वात तरुण विजेते रुडयार्ड किप्लिंग होते, ज्यांना १९०७ मध्ये पुरस्कार देण्यात आला जेव्हा ते ४१ वर्षांचे होते. पुरस्कार प्राप्त करणारी सर्वात वयोवृद्ध विजेती डोरिस लेसिंग होत्या, ज्या २००७ मध्ये ८८ वर्षांच्या होत्या. १९३१ मध्ये एरिक आक्सेल कार्लफेल्ट यांना मरणोत्तर एकदा सन्मानित करण्यात आले; असा हा एकमेव प्रसंग होता.[2]
