1360 നും 1641 നും ഇടയിൽ നിലനിന്നിരുന്ന ഫ്രാൻസിന്റെ നാണയമായിരുന്നു ഫ്രഞ്ച് ഫ്രാങ്ക്(/fræŋk/; French: [fʁɑ̃] ഇതൊരു ലിവ്രി ടൂർനോയിസ് മൂല്യമുള്ള നാണയങ്ങളുടെ പേരായിരുന്നു. പണതുകയ്ക്കുപകരമായി ഈ പദം ഒരു വാക്ശൈലിയായി തുടർന്നു.
