ക്രാസ്സുലേസീ കുടുംബത്തിലെ ഒരു ഹെർബേഷ്യസ് സസ്യം^[2] ആയ കലാൻചോ ബ്ലോസ്ഫെൽഡിയാന വീട്ടിനുള്ളിൽ വളർത്തുന്ന ഒരു സസ്യം ആണ്.^[3] കലാൻചോ ജനുസ്സിൽപ്പെട്ട ഈ സസ്യം മഡഗാസ്കർ സ്വദേശിയാണ്. ഫ്ലേമിംഗ് കാറ്റി, ക്രിസ്മസ് കലാൻചോ, ഫ്ലോറിസ്റ്റ് കലാൻചോ, ^[4] മഡഗാസ്കർ വിഡൗസ്-ത്രിൽ^[5]എന്നീ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് പേരുകളിലാണ് ഇത് അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്.
