മലയാളചലച്ചിത്രരംഗത്ത് ചിത്രസംയോജകൻ എന്ന നിലയിൽ 1980കളിൽ പ്രവർത്തിച്ച ഒരു വ്യക്തിയാണ് എ.സുകുമാരൻ[1]. ഏകദേശം 37 ചിത്രങ്ങൾ ഇദ്ദേഹം എഡിറ്റ് ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.[2] 1979 ൽ രാധ എന്ന പെൺകുട്ടി എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലാണ് അദ്ദേഹം ആദ്യമായി ചിത്രസന്നിവേശം ചെയ്തത്.[3] അശോകൻ, താഹ എന്നിവർ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത് സാന്ദ്രം എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിൽ കാമറ പ്രവർത്തിപ്പിച്ച അദ്ദേഹം അഭിനിവേശം, അഭിനന്ദനം എന്നീ ചിത്രങ്ങളിൽ അസോസിയേറ്റ് എഡിറ്ററായും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിരുന്നു.[4]
