Loks ir riņķa līnijas daļa starp diviem tās punktiem.[1] Loka apzīmēšanai izmanto zīmi ∪. Loku pieraksta ar diviem lielajiem latīņu burtiem vai diviem lielajiem un ar vienu mazo burtu starp tiem, vai trijiem lielajiem burtiem.[2]
