Pakinktai – priemonė, kuria valdomi kinkomieji gyvūnai, prie jų kabinamos transporto priemonės (vežimas, rogės) ar žemės ūkio padargai (akėčios, plūgas). Kinkomi ant arklių, jaučių (arklių pakinktai sudėtingesni).
Arklio pakinktai skirstomi dvejopai:
Pagal paskirtį pakinktai būna darbiniai, išeiginiai. Pastarieji puošnūs, apkabinėti žvangučiais ir skambalais. Pakinktai būna vieniniai (pavalkai su viržiais – į dvi arba vieną ieną, pavalkai su lanku – į dvi ienas, pavalkai su plėškėmis – į vieną ar dvi ienas) ir poriniai (pavalkai su viržiais – į rodiklį, ir plėškėmis – į rodiklį).
Valstiečiai paprastai tiek darbui, tiek švenčių proga kinkydavo po 1 ar 2 arklius, sykiais (darbui) – po 3–4. Dvaruose važiavimui kinkydavo 1–2 arba 4–6 arkliui pratėgiui. Aukštaitijoje ir Dzūkijoje arklius dažniausiai kinkydavo pavalkais su lanku, Žemaitijoje ir vidurio Lietuvoje – pavalkais su viržiais, Suvalkijoje – plėškėmis.
Darbiniai pakinktai būdavo gaminami pačių valstiečių, o išeiginiai – amatininkai (rimoriai). Pakinktų sandara minima nuo XVI a. (Lietuvos dvarų inventoriuje). Pradžioje rimoriai dirbo dvaruose, po baudžiavos panaikinimo tapo laisvaisiais amatininkais. XX a. amatas nunyko (nors vietomis kolūkiuose dar būta pakinktų dirbėjų). Gaminti pramoniniu būdu.[1]
