Skarkiškiai,[1] Skarkiškės (lenk. Skarkiszki) – lietuviškas kaimas Lenkijos šiaurės rytuose, Punsko valsčiuje, Seinų apskrityje, Palenkės vaivadijoje. Kaimas yra apie 10 km į pietryčius nuo Punsko, apie 11 km į šiaurės vakarus nuo Seinų ir 121 km į šiaurę nuo vaivadijos centro Balstogės. Į Skarkiškes įjungti buvę Rečecių ir Škliarnos kaimeliai.[2] Valsčiaus keliai Paliūnai – Seinai ir Smalėnai – Skarkiškės. 93 % gyventojų – lietuviai (1983).[3]

Nuo XIII-XIV a. iki 1795 m. kaimas priklausė Lietuvos Didžiajai Kunigaikštystei. Kaimas pirmąkart minimas XVII a. Pagal 1920 m. liepos 12 d. Lietuvos ir Tarybų Rusijos taikos sutartį kaimas buvo priskirtas Lietuvos Respublikai. Pagal 1921 m. lenkų valdžios atliktą gyventojų surašymą kaime gyveno 56 gyventojai, iš kurių 51 lenkas ir 5 lietuviai.[4] Tarpukaryje veikė lietuviškų organizacijų skyriai. 1959 m. spalio 13 d. įsikūrė Lenkijos visuomeninės kultūros draugijos padalinys. 1975-1998 m. priklausė Suvalkų vaivadijai.
