Ivakunis (jap. 岩国 = Iwakuni) – miestas Japonijoje, Honšiū salos pietvakariuose, Jamagučio prefektūroje, į pietvakarius nuo Hirošimos, Vidinės Japonijos jūros pakrantėje, Nišiki upės deltoje. Yra prekybos uostas, tarptautinis oro uostas; kursuoja keltai į Šikoku salą. Naftos chemijos ir chemijos, plaušienos ir popieriaus, tekstilės pramonė.[1] Yra JAV jūrų pėstininkų karinių oro pajėgų bazė.

Ivakunis garsėja pilimi (pastatyta 1603 m.) bei 210 m ilgio arkiniu tiltu (1673 m., 1950 m. sugriautas potvynio, vėliau atstatytas).[2]
2006 m. prie Ivakunio prijungta daug aplinkinių miestelių.
