Portunus vel Portumnus (-i) erat in mythologia Romana portarum (et recentior, portuum) deus. Unus e duodecim deis fuit quibus flamen minor dicatus erat. Ille flamen arma Quirini unguebat, quod unum munus illius sacerdotis novimus[1]. Mater Portuni erat Mater Matuta. Romae templum Portuno dicatum in Foro Boario adhuc servatur. Graeci Portunum Palaemonem nominabant.
Portumnalia Portumni festum die 17 Augusti (a.d. XVI Kal. Sept) celebrabantur.
