Plessiacum prope Turones, Francogallice Plessis-lèz-Tours, est locus conventus[1] hodie deleti et castelli regii,[2] magna parte ruinosa. Idem castellum, ab urbe Turono fere 4 chiliometris distante, in fontibus historicis antiquioribus nomine Montilia designatur.[3] rex Ludovicus XI, qui ibi secessum suum dilectissimum statuerat, die 30 Augusti 1483 mortuus est. Locus hodie in terris communis Richae iacet (praefecturae Ingeris et Ligeris) quod ad meridianam fluminis Ligeris ripam stat.
