locus opinabilis Britanniae From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ictis (nomen Graecum: Ἴκτις) fuit insula Britanniae adiacens, ad mercaturam stanni frequentata, in fontibus classicis referta. Situs huius insulae incertum est: quidam montem S. Michaelis Cornubiae fuisse censent, alii insulam Lammanam oppido East Looe adiacentem, nonnulli montem Batten iuxta Plimmutam. Quidam autem "Ictis" et "Vectis" unum nomen unamque insulam fuisse adseverant.
