Glauce (Graece Γλαύκη; scil. "glauca, colore maris") in mythologia Graeca fuit una e Nereidibus, filiis Nerei dei marini, e Doride genitis; enumeratur enim inter sorores et ab Hygino in libro cuius titulus est Fabulae,[1] et a Poëta in Iliade,[2] atque ab Hesiodo in Theogonia.[3] In mythologia Orphica Glauce fuit una e quinque deorum maris maximorum (alii fuerunt Amphitrite, Proteus, Phorcys, Triton).[4] Verbum glauce est epithetum maris in Iliade 16.34, agnomen maris in Theogonia 440.
