Catholicus (Graece καθολικός, pl. καθολικοί) est titulus ecclesiasticus, quo a saeculo quarto episcopus Seleuciae-Ctesiphontis ornatus est. Catholico fere eadem ac patriarchae competunt. A medio aevo titulus etiam praesidibus aliarum ecclesiarum orientalium datus est.
