Campus Martius (Italiane Campo Marzio) erat ager publicus fere duo km2 pansus. Medio Aevo densissima regio Romae erat. Illa IV rione hodie Romae, Campo Marzio, quae multum minus quam antiqua extenta est, idem nomen habet.
Ante Romam conditam, Campus Martius erat planities inferior cincta a curvato Tibere ad occidentem prope Insulam Tiberinam et ad orientem a Quirinali colle et ad meridiem orientem a monte Capitolino.
De fama quadam olim fuit Campus Martius plenus tritici Tarquinio Superbo, ultimo regi Romano, sed incensus est in rebus novis per quas respublica constituta est.
