Gyula Halász (9 Septembris 1899 natus; 11 Iulii 1984 mortuus), melius pseudonymo Brassaï notus, fuit photographus Francicus e Brassovia (urbe olim in Imperio Austro-Hungarico, nunc in Romania sita) ortus, qui etiam pictor, sculptor, scriptorque erat. Exosus commeare, Brassaï praecipue urbem quam incolabat, Lutetiam, photographabat, sibi merens ab Henrico Miller amico eius agnomen "oculus Lutetiae."[1] Aemilium de Moerkerken, pictorem Batavicum, aliosque adiuvabat.
