Aaron (Hebraice אַהֲרֹן Ahărōn, Arabice هارون Hārūn, Graece (Septuaginta) Ααρών) in Bibliis Hebraicis et Alcorano, saepe "Aaron sacerdos" (Hebraice אֵהֲרֹן הֵכֹּהֵן) et semel "Aaron Levita" (Hebraice אַהֲרֹן הַלֵּוִי )[1] appellatus, fuit frater maior natu Moysis[2][3] et propheta Dei. Sacerdotalia suae tribus munera repraesentat, qua re primus pontifex Israelitarum fit.[4]
