Prolagus (a Graeco, πρό 'ante' et λαγώς 'lepus') est genus exstinctum mammalium lagomorphorum, unicum genus familiae Prolagidarum. Olim haec subfamilia Ochotonidarum habebantur et Prolaginae appellabantur.
Genus Prolagus plures species priscas continet,[1] quarum una sola, P. sardus, ad tempora historica superstes fuit.[2]
