Pausitanum[1] (-i, n.) (alia nomina: Positanen[2], Posidianum) (Italiane Positano) est oppidum Italiae ac municipium, circiter 4 000 incolarum, in litore Amalphitano, in Regione Campania ac in Provincia Salernitana situm. Incolae vulgo Posidanesi (quod Latine Pausitanenses esset, etsi nemo verbum hoc adhibuit) appellantur.
