Aroma (Graece ἄρωμα 'herba bene olens; condimentum') est (a.) herba aut condimentum iucunde olens,[1] et, per metonymiam, (b.) peculiares et quidem boni herbarum et condimentorum odores,[2][3] qui in cibis etiam saepissime iucundo sapori coniunguntur. Hodie aromata alimentis addita vel naturalia vel artificiosa esse possunt.
