Masakan Uzbek nuduhake tradhisi kuliner saka wong-wong Turki ing Asia Tengah.[1] Ana akeh tani gandum ing Uzbekistan, mula roti lan mie iku penting, lan masakan Uzbek dicirikan minangka "kaya mie".[2] Mutton minangka macem-macem jinis daging sing populer amarga akeh wedhus ing negara kasebut lan kalebu bagean saka macem-macem panganan Uzbek.
