William dari Malmesbury

William dari Malmesbury (bahasa Latin: Willelmus Malmesbiriensis; ca 1095–ca 1143) adalah sejarawan Inggris dari abad ke-12. Ia dianggap sebagai salah satu sejarawan Inggris paling berbakat semenjak masa Santo Bede.

William lahir sekitar tahun 1095 atau 1096^[1] di Wiltshire. Ayahnya adalah orang Norman, sementara ibunya adalah orang Inggris.^[2] Ia menghabiskan kehidupan dewasanya sebagai seorang biarawan di Biara Malmesbury di Wiltshire, Inggris.^[3]
