Cináed mac Duib (Bahasa Gaelik Skotlandia: Coinneach mac Dhuibh;[1] skt. 966 – skt. 25 Maret1005), anglifikasi sebagai Kenneth III, dan dijuluki An Donn, "kepala" atau "si Coklat",[2] merupakan Raja Skotlandia dari 997 hingga 1005. Dia adalah putra Dub (Dub mac Maíl Coluim). Banyak sumber Skotlandia menyebutnya sebagai Giric putra Kenneth putra Dub, yang dianggap sebagai kesalahan.[3] Penjelasan alternatif adalah bahwa Kenneth memiliki seorang putra, Giric, yang memerintah bersama ayahandanya.[4][5][6]
The former is probable because later English-speaking sources called him "Grim"; Old Irish donn has similar meaning to Old English greimm, which means "power" or "authority"; see Skene, Chronicles, p. 98; Hudson, Celtic Kings, p. 105.
